Dear Official;
The rule change of players receiving a technical foul for emotional outbursts after an official’s call seems to have a trickle down affect. While watching three NBA games, players received technical fouls for openly showing displeasure with the official’s call. In the Heat vs. Celtics game, the assistant coaches from the Heat received a technical foul for standing and showing displeasure.
Questions: Are you going to administer the rule when the situation calls for it? Some scenarios could cause player ejections. School rivalries, fan influence, making the call when the game is on the line are issues that are going to come up in your game. Are you prepared to deal with the repercussions of the actions that you take?
